Land Agent

Experience

  • Performs all day to day Land Agent duties (public consultation, notifications, rental reviews, damage settlements, etc.)
  • Prepare and present evidence for SRB hearings
    • Calculate actual loss of use and tangible adverse effect
    • Present, gather, and compile comparable evidence  
    • Analyze Lessor’s evidence 
    • Project coordination
  • Coordinated survey clearance and helped determine routing for a 200 km linear pipeline project
  • Managed and acquired several large well and pipeline tie-in projects
  • Supervised the reclamation and vegetation management for Alta-Link’s WATL transmission line.  

Agriculture

Actively farming since 1994

  • Involved in most activities on the family farm in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. Duties which include operating farm equipment, marketing, budgeting, crop planning, and crop input  
  •  Sales Agronomist  
    • Advised producers on cropping practices, chemical application, handling, and mixing 
    • Performed product performance calls 
    • Conducted and reviewed soil tests 
    • Developed yearly grow plans for producers to assess their fertilizer and pesticide requirements 
    • Worked with producers to develop and implement an integrated pest management plan
